After a 20-day hiatus for the Holidays, classes resumed last night. Due to the structure of our accelerated program, the break fell near the middle of our second 12-week session.

In Operations Management on Friday night, we received the results of our first exam and jumped back into coursework with a quiz over terminology from the next several chapters. With the professor under the weather, we were dismissed early to the delight of the huddled masses. We’ll be preparing for the second “case” of the semester in the coming week. My group will be meeting on Tuesday night.

This morning’s Cost Accounting class was contracted to 150 minutes, just time enough for a 33-question test over the first 10 chapters of the book. With a few hours of preparation over the past week, I felt good about 32 of my answers. I will be interested to see the answer and explanation for question 18, reproduced here for your amusement.
